Technology for the Ultra Poor

ICM combines the best practices of the business and academic worlds with the passion and heart of a faith-based non-profit.Since 1992, ICM has been providing help, hope, and change to impoverished families. We look forward to a day when no child has to live in ultra-poverty. Ministry is based in the Philippines and has started working in Uganda and Costa Rica.

NeedsMet helped ICM with custom development of their Transform platform. That platform tracks all of the ministry activities going on in locations around the Philippines. With over 19,000 pastors and 500,000 individuals helped, ICM has a lot of data that needs to be collected, stored and analyzed. NeedsMet also has developed their Android app used by over 600 staff members. The app collects data offline and syncs it when staff members return to the base with connectivity.

ICM works with the WHO, Harvard, Princeton and Yale to conduct studies on Ultra-poor communities. They are a leading organization when it comes to the Ultra poor (people that make less than $.50 per day).
